Ok problem one. I time out when trying to send to my MTA. I do not notice any thing in my error log at first. Then eventually it tells me the user us unknown... Like after 5 or 10 minutes... I just have to wait. Now this I assume is simply due to the fact that I have relaying setup wring.. it's supposed to simply relay this mail but apparently it is trying to deliver it locally. At one point it gave me a dns error but I think that may not have been because it could not resolve dns... the server it was supposed to relay to was turned off at the time and it's not giving me the error now that it is on (hehe). Either way my issues seems to basically be that nothing is happening for a long long time after I connect.
Ok I've tried telnetting ot it and feeding it commands manually. I do not have a clue what I am doing and have tried to just send it stuff as per what I find in rfc 821.. Now I'm not doing that right but what concerns me is that it takes a good 5-10 minutes for it to return this to the terminal.

Also I can not use the quit command.. or rather perhaps I send the command but it takes 5 minutes before it executes it.
Last thing I notice is that courier restarts itself returning this to the error log
