Thanks for all your prompt help. The problem was that the previous
mailserver accepted mail no matter the Case of the address. I have changed
the server to accept locallowercase and everything works fine now.

What did you switch from? What kind of group? If the group definition was
stored on your old mail server somehow, then it is likely that your group
definitions have been lost. If the group is defined in your mail client,
then there is something odd about the way the definitons have been made.
What client are you using?
