Thanks.. I just figured that out... for anyone out there that sees this
problem again.. The fix is to add localhost and your hostname to the
etc/locals file.  I went ahead an added localhost, local,
<host>.<domain1>.com and <host>.<domain2>.com to locals.

'bozo.dacaldwells.com' is not recognized as a local domain, therefore
the 
recipient is considered to be a remote recipient.  However a DNS lookup,
to 
identify the remote mail server's address, comes back with the address
of 
the local mail server.
