Ok, so vpopmail won't work unless Qmail is the delivery agent.
How do I set up fast and convenient way to manage dozens of virtual email addresses? I have one customer with 25 mail boxes.
I'm happy to write a Perl script to handle that, but I'm going to need some help on the details.
Are there any medium to large installations with a pure Courier MTA and virtual mailboxes?
Thanks,
Tom.

That's because vpopmail is tied tightly to qmail, and won't work without
qmail.
I should really disable the vpopmail check in the Courier build.

I'm currently using Qmail/Vpopmail/Sqwebmail and it's fine, but Qmail has some issues.
Vpopmail is good. It is easy to administer, and robust. I'm happy with it.
It gets used for authentication for Sqwebmail, but that's not such a big deal. The hard to replace/replicate parts are vadddomain and vadduser, and all the nice, automatic things they do. Has someone got a Perl script that replicates the functionality of vadduser and vadddomain in a more or less pure Courier system?
Suggestions?
Thanks!
Tom.
