I've tried restarting Courier. This problem seems to have something to do with FAM, so it may be something glitched in the system.
It is a FAM-related error. Namely FAMOpen() returns a failure.
FAM got confused immediately after a quick stop and re-start of Courier this morning. I may try exercising it a bit this weekend and see if I can reproduce it.
Lemme see what I can do to handle FAM fsckups...
