Hello

I have a big problem that I *really* could use some help with. This mailing
list is my last resort.

I have Courier IMAP up and running, but I'm having a problem with shared
folders. I need to setup a shared folder so access is restricted to a
certain unix group.

I have a unix user 'tuetest' which has its own group 'tuetest'. I have also
created a unix group 'mygroup' (no password) which has 'tuetest' as one of
its members. I've created a shared folder with

   maildirmake -S /var/spool/mail/shared
   maildirmake -s write,group -f testfolder /var/spool/mail/shared
   chgrp -R mygroup /var/spool/mail/shared/.testfolder

Problem is, that the imap user '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' which maps to the unix
user 'tuetest' can't view or edit the folder, as I would expect, even though
its a member of the 'mygroup' unix group.

I'm running on RedHat 8.0 with latest stable courier version.

Does Courier not support this kind of behaviour? If it does, what do I need
to do?

Sincerely,
Tue Wennerberg
