A From line will be added if the message is to be stored in a mbox-style
file, but not if it's to be stored in a Maildir, where emails are stored as
individual files. The From_ line in an mbox file serves as the demarcation
between emails and is used by email clients to break the file down into
component emails, which, of course, isn't an issue if the emails are stored
in separate files.

Maildrop takes care of this automatically, depending on the delivery
instructions provided. You don't have to deal with the issue directly.
