Just a note on trying to build with a relocated sysconfdir on RedHat 7.3 :
rpm -ta --define 'xflags --sysconfdir=/home/courier/etc
--localstatedir=/home/courier/var' courier-0.40.1.tar.bz2
+ rm -rf /var/tmp/courier-install/usr/lib/courier/share/htmldoc
+ /bin/mkdir -p /var/tmp/courier-install/etc/skel
+ maildir/maildirmake /var/tmp/courier-install/etc/skel/Maildir
+ /bin/sed 's/^POP3DSTART.*/POP3DSTART=YES/'
/var/tmp/rpm-tmp.65976: /var/tmp/courier-install/etc/courier/pop3d.dist:
No such file or directory
error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.65976 (%install)
RPM build errors:
Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.65976 (%install)
No big deal... I took out the sysconfdir assignment and all is well....
