I installed my courier w/mysql support from an rpm so I am not positive about this, but if it is like sqwebmail and vpopmail and such it looks like you are missing some configure options. like --with-authmysql ... but again I didn't have to go there so I'm not sure if this is the case.

Can anyone help me? I'm having a problem compiling Courier-Imap with
MySQL support. I am running Slackware 8.1 with MySQL binary
distribution. Here are the commands I'm running to compile
