In authldaprc, look at the UID comments, and add the needed variables. Probably...

LDAP_GLOB_UID
LDAP_GLOB_GID

... or maybe

LDAP_UID
LDAP_GID

All-

So far, I'm presuming this is a courier related issue, as I have a
popper and Postfix which have been using this ldap server successfully
for the past year.

I am getting the following error in my logs:

authdaemond.lda[15454]: [ID 745996 daemon.crit] authlib: refuse to
authenticate michael: uid=0, gid=

I have seen several references to this error, but I have not been able
to solve the problem. I am using postfix/courier/ldap successfully on a
linux box, but this is a Solaris 8 box.
Courier configures, compiles cleanly, it just won't authenticate
properly.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I haven't posted more log info
or config files, however- I will provide if you think it helpful.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
