Hi, guys!

I've installed courier on my linux machine some days ago. Everything
works well. But when i tryed to send message which includes koi8-r 8bit
text with 7bit mime attachment, courier converted it into 7bit.

Here is source message (it was generated with mutt 1.4, only mime
headers showed):

Mime-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="gBBFr7Ir9EOA20Yy"
Content-Disposition: inline
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit

--gBBFr7Ir9EOA20Yy
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=koi8-r
Content-Disposition: inline
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit

some 8bit, koi8-r text in russian here

--gBBFr7Ir9EOA20Yy
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="Long.c"

some 7bit text here

--gBBFr7Ir9EOA20Yy--

But after sending this message with courier 0.40.1, it was rewritten to:

Mime-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="=_vocord.rt.mipt.ru-7334-1039029991-0001-2"
Content-Disposition: inline

--=_vocord.rt.mipt.ru-7334-1039029991-0001-2
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=koi8-r
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
Content-Disposition: inline
X-Mime-Autoconverted: from 8bit to 7bit by courier 0.40

same russian text, but without eighth bits

--=_vocord.rt.mipt.ru-7334-1039029991-0001-2
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="Long.c"
X-Mime-Autoconverted: from 8bit to 7bit by courier 0.40

same 7bit text

--=_vocord.rt.mipt.ru-7334-1039029991-0001-2--

Why does it happen? I looked through souce code, but still have no idea
about it. Source code is very comlex and somewhere is hard to read.
Does anybody know anything about that?
