That will never make it into the system. I made a simple test at
yours, showing that a 550 error results from tryinig that:

Yes. I use MAPS: it helps against illegal spammers. "Legal spammers"
may do something like "MAIL FROM:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>"
where the address is legal, but varies widely...

Perhaps because you use the server address directly.
Can you try to set an MX record to it for some domain?
