Hi,
excuse me for my second follow up to my own request.
On my system (suse 7.2) cron will be started with startproc.
daemons startet by startproc dont have stdout. So sendmail startet by
cron doesnt also.
regards,
Michael
Hi,
it is very crasy. If I replace /usr/sbin/sendmail with a shell script
containing:
#!/bin/sh
/usr/lib/courier/bin/sendmail $@ >>/tmp/dbg
all works fine. But without ">>/tmp/dbg" it doesnt.
Sombody has any idea about that?
regards,
Michael
Hi,
I have a big problem with mails from cron jobs.
Everytime cron wants to send an email I get the syslog entry
/USR/SBIN/CRON[16535]: (root) MAIL (mailed 6 bytes of output but got
status 0x004b )
If I try to send mail with same content and parameters as cron from
the comandline I have no problem.
What can I do ?
regards,
Michael
