Hi guys, I've installed postfix an courier-imap on my webserver (redhat 7.3, Mysql, proftpd, apache) and set it to use authmysql. When i try to start it (imapd.rc start)
a messages appears in the message log (authdaemond.mysql: authdaemon: modules"automysql auhtpwd", daemons=5). But it seems like courier imap isn't running. Im almost 90 % certain that the configuration files are ok. When i do a portscan it says that 110 and 25 are open. (even when postfix and courier imap are not running). I think i can narrow this down to 3 questions 1. Where does courier-imap logs to? (i know it logs to the messages logfile) 2. Is it a problem that i start courier-imap as root? 3.
