I've noticed that Netscape 4.7x IMAP client has this problem with HTML messages generated by Outlook or Outlook Express. You preview or open such a message, and see no body. Close it, open another message, then open the problem message again and it usually shows everything. Sometimes, the body text is malformed (quoted text from previous messages overlaid on top of current message text, etc.). Same messages look fine in M$ clients or Eudora.
I think it's a client problem.
