I tried to build rpm from sources, but rpm complains because the build depends on postgresql-devel, mysql-devel, openldap-servers packages. I have no need to use these modules, so I modified the spec file removing this dependencies. Doing so the build completed successfully and it built also courier-imap-pgsql courier-imap-mysql courier-imap-ldap rpm packages. Is this normal? Will these package will work if I ever use them? If the dependnces were not necessary why they are there?
