Hi, I have been using courier-imap for a few days and I have just noticed that when I delete a folder (and all the messages it contains) from my IMAP client, the maildirsize file is not updated which is of course a real problem. Note that I am talking about the command which delete the folder and its content in one operation. This problem does not seem to be related to a specific IMAP client as I experience the same problem from different clients: Outlook Express 5, Mozilla 1.2 and SquirrelMail 1.2.10.
Here is the whole IMAP dialogue (seen from the client) between the client and the server when I delete a folder: A001 LOGIN "myusername" "mysecret" A001 OK LOGIN Ok. A002 LSUB "INBOX." "*" A002 OK LSUB completed A003 LIST "" "INBOX.MyFolder" A003 OK LIST completed A004 LIST "" "INBOX.Drafts" A004 OK LIST completed A005 LIST "" "INBOX.Sent" A005 OK LIST completed A006 LIST "" "INBOX.Trash" A006 OK LIST completed A007 LIST "" "INBOX" A007 OK LIST completed A008 DELETE "INBOX.MyFolder" A008 OK Folder deleted. A009 UNSUBSCRIBE "INBOX.MyFolder" A009 OK Folder unsubscribed. A010 LOGOUT A010 OK LOGOUT completed Can someone explain me why the maildirsize maintained my Courier-Imap is not updated while the folder "MyFolder" and all its content are correctly removed ?
