Hi!
I'm having trouble sending e-mails to some mailservers and it has
something to do with the STARTTLS-command.
Incoming, STARTTLS is certainly disabled, esmtpd-ssl is disabled, there is
no emstpd.pem-file and I removed all options in etc/esmtpd that seem to be
related to this. I still keep getting the following reply:
=============================
Your message to the following recipients cannot be delivered:
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
mail.domain.com [1.1.1.1]:
>>> STARTTLS
<<< 500 starttls: accept: error:14090086:SSL
routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed
=============================
My main question is: What does this error mean exactly? Is this a
configuration issue of my mailserver? I have to problem sending e-mails to
this domain from a mail-server, that doesn't have ssl / tls configured.
Tnx for your help!
Armin
