Tools Email Accounts > view or change > next > highlight IMAP account > more
settings > Advanced > in Folders - Root Folder path: > type > INBOX > all
caps > click ok all the way out.

It's truth, when I'm using such mail client as OE.
But due to some reasons I'd like to prefer (also MS) Outlook XP with IMAP4
support. But this product uses as "default message store" only file
"Personal Folders". Therefore sent mails (and also drafts) fall into local
folder, not IMAP4 folder and there is no simple way to move it into IMAP4
server (except manually :-).

Second "philosophical" reason for my wish is that when my mail program (OE)
must to place every sent mail into folder over network, it sends in fact
every mail twice - first via SMTP and next via IMAP4.
