The installation went ok, I'm running Redhat 8.0 and startet building a rpm
witch I installed from. The webadmin service is found in the cgi-bin
directory, and I think I have turned on SSL securety to the cgi-bin in my
Apache webbrowser. Still, when I start the browser there is a configuration
error (unsecure.html). Is there anywhere I can see if it is the webserver
that misses the SSL or another thing is wrong? I'm a bit unsure about the
webserver setup.

Do you understand that in order to use SSL your need to enter an https: URL, instead of http:?

I have tried to follow the instruction in the INSTALL file found on the web.
I failed to make webadmin password, because I could not find the file
install-webadmin-password. There is a password file, found in
/etc/courier/webadmin directory, with something that looks encrypted.

It's not encrypted. It's randomly generated cleartext password.

In the webservers error.log, it says: mod_mime_magic: can't read
'/var/www/cgi-bin/webadmin'.

Broken installation permissions.
