I am using qmail 1.3 with vpopmail 5.3.14 and courier-imap 1.7.0. I am seeing the same problem when connecting to my mail through either Squirrelmail or Outlook (using IMAP).
When moving messages between folders some messages will get moved to where the user requested, some get moved to the TRASH. For instance, if I select say 10 e-mails and want to move them to a folder called xyz. I select all 10 e-mails and select to move them to the xyz folder. Some will end up in the xyz folder but some will end up in the TRASH. What is even worse, is if the e-mail is already in the TRASH and you want to move it out of the TRASH, if it doesn't end up in the folder you selected, it gets deleted permanently. Has anyone experienced this problem??? Does anybody have any ideas on how to fix this or what to look for? Is there any way I can turn some logging on to see what is happening? I would like to be able to log all actions and any errors that may be occuring.
