Yeah thats what I was thinking too, we currently have a webmail system that reads / writes to the mail spool directly over nfs, folders are virtually defined by the naming convention of each message, however all messages remain in the INBOX. I was hoping IMAP might have some crazy setting that allowed a similar kind of folder creation ? Please tell me if I am talking absolute tosh.
