Hello all,
I'm new to the list. I'm looking at Courier-imap with OpenLDAP
authentication, and Exim as the MTA, and Squirrelmail as a web front
end. I've got Exim talking to OpenLDAP and delivering mail to the
proper MailDir, but the authdaemon talking to OpenLDAP is giving me
problems. I've tried setting a plain-text password in the clearPassword
LDAP attribute, and {MD5}, and {crypt} passwords in the userPassword
field, but still no luck.
I can turn on more verbose logging through OpenLDAP, but I'd like to get
more info about what courier/authdaemon is thinking/doing. Is there any
place to do that? It wasn't readily apparent from all of the google and
man docs I've been looking.
BTW, I'm running the packages from Debian Stable.
