hi,

thanks for your input. i still get some errors.

i did the following. using the webinterface i did
Virtual domain accounts
This option delivers all mail for a non-local domain into a local mail
account.

      Virtual domain Local mail account

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

      baenz.net     [EMAIL PROTECTED] - remove
      Forward all local addresses in this domain to this account
      Owner of this account controls mail delivery by creating .courier
files (system accounts only).

in my opinion this should be enough, right? could id be a problem that
baenz.net is a locally hostet domain ?

after i did these changes i checked /usr/lib/courier/etc/aliases and it look
like the following:
# Automatically generated by webadmin - DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE
@baenz.net: .webadmin/baenz.net
[EMAIL PROTECTED]: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[EMAIL PROTECTED]: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

the user is configured to have his settings like:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
home=/home/mail/baenz.net/baenz|systempw=J8v6Gbo4jgZfY|gid=401|uid=401

and his home looks like:
furbyII:/home/mail/baenz.net/baenz # ls -al
total 12
drwx------    3 couriers couriers     4096 Mar 14 20:08 .
drwxr-xr-x    3 couriers couriers     4096 Mar  6 17:34 ..
drwx------    9 couriers couriers     4096 Mar 14 20:14 Maildir
furbyII:/home/mail/baenz.net/baenz #

when i look at my logile it looks like:Mar 14 20:24:29 furbyII courierlocal:
id=000876D0.3E722C6D.00004505,from=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,addr=<.webadmin/baenz.ne

id=000876E1.3E722C6D.00004509,from=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,addr=<.webadmin/baenz.ne
[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,status: failure

and the mail i receive is:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

                           UNDELIVERABLE MAIL

Your message to the following recipients cannot be delivered:

<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
<<< Mail loop - already have my Delivered-To: header.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

strange thing is that actually [EMAIL PROTECTED] works when i remove the
settings in the virtual host configuration.

i read trough the documentation again and again. also tried to with the
setting "Owner of this account controls mail delivery by creating .courier
files " and created a file .courier-default in the user home
/home/mail/baenz.net/baenz which looks like

./Maildir

but also this didn't work.

do you have any hints, tipps what i'm doing wrong?

regards
patrick
