[courier-users] hung connection

Guys,

I'm sorry, I'm sure this is a simple config problem that I'm just 
missing. (Especially since I didn't have this problem with my 0.41.0 
install.) But courier (esmtpd and esmtpd-msa) are hanging when I 
connect to them. The port is open in both cases, it accepts 
connections, but I get no greeting from them and no response at all to 
any SMTP commands I attempt to issue. -- The IMAP and POP ports on the 
other hand seem to function properly. -- And "sendmail -bs" works 
perfectly from the command line. FWIW, I've also confirmed that my 
firewall (ipfw) is not active.

What have I done here? Any thoughts?

FYI, I'm running courier 0.42.0 on an OS X client machine.
