I was under the impression I configured it correctly. Besides the 2 lines in the config file is there anything else I can check? Maybe a debug level I can change to get more information on what is not working correctly?

The presence of AUTH LOGIN lines indicates that authenticated ESMTP is properly configured and enabled.
