However, no matter how you define it, a > "full-text-search engine for vpopmail" makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. > I suggest that you take a step back and figure out what exactly you're > trying to do, before asking any more questions. > Hi, Sam so, for instance, first, we have a search engine now, I have a word "=B1=E0=", and want to seach it in mailbox, so, because it could be some words after QP-encode, and might be some main body in 8bit or 7bit encoded, and might be some coded or uncoded words in Subject from header, and I want to look all encoding format in email for the word "=B1=E0=". so that the engine could avoid losing any part and any coding words. and I made my word "full-text-search" engine. :p
and this engine should search a serial characters in three coding format, 1, plain text directly in email file, here is "=B1=E0=" 2, base64 coded words, here is "PUIxPUUwPQ==", encoded by "=B1=E0=" by Base64 3, QP coded words, here is "=3DB1=3DE0=3D", encoded by "=B1=E0=" by QP it is just my thoughts, and is that the working mode of normal email search engine? Thanks~!
