one of our customers is getting this error when sending mail to a (broken?) server:
Jul 1 10:48:36 m3lnxsva01 courieresmtp:
id=000CF9B0.3F014AE3.00007FB7,from=<xxx>,addr=<xxx>: 554 Unable to initialize security subsystem
To avoid this we have set
ESMTP_USE_STARTTLS=0
in etc/courierd and then made
courier restart
Is this the proper way to disable the use of TLS and to avoid this problem? We still get the error.
