I'm trying to install Courier-IMAP-2.0.0 on Solaris 9 on a Sun Ultra 60. My configure and make commands successfully complete, but my make check does not. ( the --enable-workarounds... line is NOT in the configure command.) "Making check in ..." completes for many other directories. Here are some lines from the output:

Prior to all this, Postfix 2.0.13 is running in the background and I can post messages to mailboxes on this computer that were set up using the Makedir option. Some articles I read allude to having Apache running on the same machine; is that necessary or any Apache files necessary to be present and/or modified?
Perl 5.8, GCC,and Openssl 0.9.7 are all installed. Apache is not.
I'm following a book and Internet instructions that were written for Redhat 7; I'm writing up detailed instructions to guide other users to install this program upon Sun computers. I found some minor command modifications are necessary.
If anyone has seen these symptoms before and overcame them, I'm very interested in hearing from you. This latest problem has dogged me for two weeks.
