Hello
i built RPM from tarball using rpmbuild
(rpmbuild -ta courier-0.42.2.20030721.tar.bz2)
as non-root.
Everything fine except when i tried installing it :
# cd /home/admin/rpm/RPMS/i386
# rpm -i courier-0.42.2.20030721-1.8.0.i386.rpm
file /usr/share/man/man1/sendmail.1.gz from install of courier-0.42.2.20030721-1.8.0 conflicts with file from package postfix-1.1.11-5
did i do something wrong ? or something i don't understand ?
There's a conflict with the Postfix RPM. You don't need Postfix if you're going to use Courier, so remove the postfix rpm.
