I've managed to install the complete courier package (courierd, esmtp, imap, authd, etc...) Everything starts up and works fine. I'm using Maildrop with userdb for some virtual users. All the users can receive their mail just fine.
My problem is with aliases. I created a file in /usr/lib/courier/etc/aliases. I then ran makealiasdb
A sample listing is foo: noah.
From my understanding, e-mail sent to foo should now go to noah (me.).
I'm wondering if there is some weird permission issue (I made the alias file as root.), or if I have to copy the resulting alias files elsewhere (some doucmentation refers to /etc/courier.)
Thanks!!!
