After doing more research I have found that this bug is present in the current "stable" release of vpopmail (v5.2.1) This bug was fixed in v5.3.5 of the current vpopmail "development" series. The development series is currently at v5.3.23 and is available from : http://sourceforge.net/projects/vpopmail It is likely that this fix will be backported shortly into a "soon to be released" v5.2.2 stable version A v5.4 stable version is also due in the near future.
