Howdy list,

Is there a way to get slightly more detailed
logs out of the courier-imapd package without
patching the system?

I currently get logs that look like this if a
user login fails:

Aug 4 16:14:18 chortos pop3d: LOGIN FAILED, ip=[65.81.90.34]
Aug 4 16:14:19 chortos pop3d: Disconnected, ip=[65.81.90.34]

I'd love to see the failed username and
password included in that first log, that way
I can tell my customers exactly WHY their login
is failing, and I can make sure they're telling
the truth when they say they've typed their
password correctly.

Any ideas? Thoughts?

Does anyone else think this functionality would
be useful? If so, I might create a patch if it
doesn't already exist...

Thanks.
