[courier-users] courier-mta and mysql authentication

I've spent the last few days trying to find instructions on setting up 
the courier-mta package to use mysql for authentication.  I have created 
the table used in the README.authmysql.html.   I have authmysql using 
courier as the user name, but i am unsure on what to set as the 
password.  When I am logged in as courier, and run mysql i can connect 
to the database and run queries.  I have tried putting in the 
un-encrypted passwd and the encrypted password.  Whenever I run authtest 
for the a test user, i receive Temporary authentication failure from 
module authdaemon
Authentication FAILED! as a response.  Are there instructions that 
documents how to setup mysql so you can use it to authenticate with 
courier and how to setup the auth* files?
