I just looked this up, and it seems to be regarding sending mail to misconfigured Exchange servers. My problem is specifically with incoming mail. Would an esmtproutes entry affect incoming traffic as well?

Hi Kevin,

there's a section on ill-configured Exchange servers in the courier(8) man page, try that,

regards,

Drew

Hello,

I've been receiving the following message on my primary MX every so often, which causes the connection to be shunted off to the backup MX where it successfully gets through (most of the time)...
Can anyone provide some feedback on what it means, and who is at fault here? If it's something I need to change in my configuration, a point in the right direction would be most helpful.

STARTTLS failed: Unexpected SSL connection shutdown.

Thanks!
