hey courier-users;

        my girlfriend is running Mozilla 1.3 on
        SuSE 8.1. today she started getting this
        message when trying to retrieve mail using
        POP+SSL:

        the the RETR command did not succeed. mail
        server futureconsortium.com responded: can't
        open the message file - it's gone!

        is this a problem with Mozilla? i don't see
        anything in mail.log or mail.err that's
        helpful, just lines like this:

Sep 10 14:03:24 c3po pop3d-ssl: Connection, ip=[::ffff:65.43.169.28]
Sep 10 14:03:24 c3po pop3d-ssl: LOGIN, user=jenn, ip=[::ffff:65.43.169.28]
Sep 10 14:04:13 c3po pop3d-ssl: DISCONNECTED, user=jenn, ip=[::ffff:65.43.169.28],
top=0, retr=0

        i have the courier-imap server running, and
        she can log into squirrelmail and use her mail
        just fine from there, which leads me to believe
        it's a client problem.

        my system is: debian 3.0 (testing)
        courier-pop/pop-ssl/ssl/base: 0.42.2-5

        there's nothing in /var/log/messages, and i've
        restarted the pop3 daemon to no avail. she's
        also restarted her mail client...

        thanks in advance for any help :>

        regards,
        henry
