I don't know if this is 100% the issue, but from http://www.courier-mta.org/makeuserdb.html uid - value is a (possibly) unique numerical user ID for this account. gid - value is a (possibly) unique numerical group ID for this account. > > The space was added because of Yahoo's stupid > wordwrap.
