in your bofh file in your /usr/lib/courier directory add this line... opt BOFHBADMIME=accept
That worked for me. It comes as a result of somebody sending HTML which has NON-ASCII (unicode) characters in it. Technically, HTML is a pure ASCII only thing, with Unicode/UTF8 being supported only on the rendering. Lots of mail clients that use MS word or some other slick Word processor will embed non-ascii characters in their mail or html-ized mail. Courier checks this and bounces them if you do not have the opt BOFHBADMINE=accept set I'm basically just throwing this out there and haven't really done that much research on it. So if any of you gurus would care to correct me, please do so. bill ----- Original Message ----- From: "alan milligan" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, November 04, 2003 5:09 AM Subject: [courier-users] dsbl.org and [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Hi, > > I made a post about this a week ago and have yet to receive an answer. > > It appears my mailserver has managed to get itself listed on dsbl.org's > boycott list (still trying to figure out the breach as according to the > offending mail message, it came via HTTP!!!) > > Their standard procedure is to send a mail message to the postmaster's > email, in the above format.
