I hope you can help me with this - I do admitt - newbie question:
1. courier*.rpm I've installed courier using the rpm and when I try to execute the post-installation checks described on the courier hp I cannot find any of the programs? what do I do?
Nothing. If you've built the RPMs on current Red Hat, there's no need to run the checks.
2. I am using the system passwords to access the courier server. this does work (i've tried telnet-ing into the courier-server from the same machine) but when I try to access the server from another machine (winXP, outlook), I cannot connect. What is wrong?
You have a firewall, probably ipchains. Remove it.
3. I have three accounts that download their respective mails from a pop3-account. All my users should have access to these mails and when they answer, how do I garantee, that the outgoing mails have the appropriate email-address?
Configure their/your mail clients properly.
