I have setup courier a number of times using the webadmin, but this
is the first time trying to setup courier modifying the config files
by hand.

I want to use the userdb to store my users, I thought I had
everything correct. I ran the perftest1 test script and I get in the
courier log file the following messages:

You probalby also need to list "atherapy.com" in etc/courier/hostedomains, and run "makehosteddomains".

My knowledge of userdb setups leaves something to be desired... If you're using a userdb, and the domain is in hosteddomains, then the "name" field in the userdb should be the full email address, [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I don't recall if you can use userdb domains as locals... If so, you'd leave your userdb as it is, remove the domain from "hosteddomains" (and remove the hosteddomains.dat file), and add the domain to the file etc/courier/locals.
