Hi, I'm trying my hardest to figure things out on my own but I'm having a little difficulty right now with how postmaster responses work when you have more than one domain setup.
v. 0.44.2.20031215
I am using authpam, authmysql to authenticate users.
I have a couple system accounts that have Maildirs and get authenicated from authpam if no match is found for authmysql.
The domains are listed in hosteddomains/webadmin and esmtpacceptmail.dir/webadmin. They consist of .org .com .net
Everything works up until I send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
If I do a makealiases -dump it will show [EMAIL PROTECTED]: [EMAIL PROTECTED] even though inthe system aliases file there is no mention of domain.com beside the postmaster.
I'm assuming that makealiases somehow grabs domains and appends them to the postmaster name in the aliases file and creates the .dat from it.
I noticed that if I send email to a [EMAIL PROTECTED] and that domain isn't listed in the makealiases -dump, my mysqlquerylog shows that it attempts to validate an account of [EMAIL PROTECTED] after trying the postmaster Email.
Does this give you enough info as to how and what I screwed up?
Help, confused.
Alan Ingham.
