Greetings. I am a somewhat-experienced user of Courier. I have
installed probably 5 or 6 servers. I like using webadmin because it's
easy to use.

I have just recently started having problems with it on my latest
server.

I use the make install-webadmin-password, which created the cleartext
file successfully in /usr/lib/courier/etc/webadmin/password. The
password is what I thought it was.

I am accessing the webadmin from IE, using
https://server_name/cgi-bin/webadmin. I am able to get to the login
page, but every time I click OK, I get the error:

----------------------------------------------------
courier 0.44.2.20031215 - Administrative Login
Administrative password:

NOTE: Cookies must be enabled from this point on.

ERROR: Invalid password
-----------------------------------------------------

The cookie settings have not changed, to the best of my knowledge. I
can manage other Courier servers from their respective webadmins from
the same computer without problems. I also have managed this server
from webadmin before.

This is a fresh install of Courier from the above referenced version. I
downloaded the tarball and compiled.

Is there a setting somewhere that I forgot?

Thanks,
David Gomillion
