I see lines that look like this infrequently:

Jan 14 07:38:08 honker courierd: newmsg,id=00007621.40054640.00001C1C:
dns; localhost (softdnserr [::ffff:127.0.0.1])

What does the softdnserr mean?  Why don't I see it with every message?
