Ok - maybe this is self evident by the folder names... but I don't want to waste cycles if I don't have to.
I want to programatically remove a message from a folder based on certain conditions. The message was recently (1 millisecond? 1 second? 1 hour?) delivered by maildrop.
Do I have to check all folders for it's existance?
Is there a window of time after which I only have to check .cur?
A message remains in new until it is seen for the very first time by a client. So you need to check both new and cur.
