This problem does not exist when using Sendmail. My tests on a different
system show that even if a message is sent with no body that Sendmail will
alter the message, adding the blank line after the header. Then, when
retrieved using pop, the message comes down similar to the second example and
never causes an issue with Outlook Express or Eudora.
Is there a way to configure Courier to do this? Or is this just the way
Courier behaves?
That's just the way that Courier âbehavesâ, more commonly known as âgarbage
in, garbage outâ.
It is very nice of sendmail to fix Outlook Express and Eudora bugs for them.
Perhaps Sendmail gets paid by Microsoft to work around Microsoft's bugs.
