Hi

* Am sure most of us on this list have got it working , the question would be
* where are you stuck and we help out.

The problem is: I don't know where the problem is.
I am following the Installation Guide and I am now at the perftest.

I got error 450, Service not available, though all daemons where running.
Then I changed the adresses in the perftest1-script to fit my system
(from example.com or something to [EMAIL PROTECTED], my local domain)

Then I got error 432. I fixed something in authmysqlrc
and I got at least bounces. But I don't know why. Probably syntax errors.
The bounces were not readable (owned by user bin, only readable by user
root), but when viewing as root there was some problem with the domain.

You would indeed help me out if you send me a zipped etc directory,
because there are various files I probably have configured badly including
'hosteddomains', 'authdaemonrc' and so on.

Of course I don't want to hav a configuration from a actual internet
accessible mail server, because that kind of information would be
compromising to the owner. But a working configuration example of a
mailserver in a local zone that isn't accessible to a potential hacker
anyways would help.

* Have you configured everything and it has refused to work ?????

Yes ;-)

Greetings from Berlin
Peter
