I am seeing a large number of messages like this in my maillog:
courieresmtpd: error,relay=209.212.102.154,msg="502 ESMTP command error",cmd: DATA
The interesting fact is that both the sending and receiving mail servers in this instance are courier servers. I presume I have a something wrong in my config somewhere...
No there isn't. This is the expected behavior when both servers support the PIPELINING ESMTP extension.
