The long and short of it is -- you can't. The problem is that MIME gets in the way. You *could* probably write some complicated code to rip apart MIME messages, and "edit" the content of the first text/plain message, *assuming* it is the message body, and then rebuilding the message and sending it on its way. Otherwise, appending content to a non-mime message ought to be much easier. You know, it's probably not that hard, now that I think about it, if one were to use Python to do the heavy lifting (it's got a pretty good mime module I hear). Hmmmm.
