Hi folks, I'm completely new to this list (subscribed a few minutes ago, and haven't seen any email from it yet) and I am also fairly new to Courier, insofar as I haven't actually tried to run it yet; I'm still just building it and installing it on my live and test systems.
My live system is currently a medium-sized Sparc Solaris 9 box. I am trying to compile Courier with a mixture of the Sun-provided smorgasbord of open source tools (the SFW pack) and a few that I have installed myself. The main make (gmake actually) runs ok with no errors, and "gmake check" runs fine up until the 'imap' test suite, where it produces this output: >>>>>>>>>>>>begin test output>>>>>>>>>>>>> giant ~/builds/courier/courier-0.44.2/imap > gmake check LC_ALL=C; export LC_ALL; ./testsuite | ./testsuitefix.pl | sort | cmp -s - ./testsuite.txt **************************** * Sanity check in progress * I can't find anything that looks like a diagnostic trace from the test run in the 'imap' directory, but I may be looking in the wrong place... courier is very large. I'm happy to run any diagnostics that anyone suggests at this stage. I just want to ensure that this is a valid compile which will work when I run it. _________________________________ Thorne Lawler Senior Systems Administrator t: +61 3 8329 2026 f: +61 3 9326 7588 e: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Microlistics A Dawson Group Company www.microlistics.com.au _________________________________ ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
