Perfect.  I was able to do a clean install of Courier-0.45.2 with no
problems
this time.

Sam, I really appreciate the time that you put toward this project and
answering the questions of all of us clueless users! :)

Now if I can just fix the "can't create hard link" error from Amavis, I'll
have
a working mail server.
